The feat, achieved at the Portimao circuit, saw French rider Valentin Debise pilot the ZXMOTO 820RR-RS to victory in both Race 1 and Race 2 of the World SSP category.

Long dominated by established European and Japanese marques, the podium was claimed by a Chinese manufacturer for the first time. Commentators highlighted the 820RR-RS’s exceptional straight-line speed and competitive pricing, proving that Chinese industrial ambition has reached a world-class standard.

For founder Zhang Xue, who launched the brand in 2024, the win is the culmination of two decades of perseverance. "When we first arrived in this arena, we were looked down upon," Zhang reflected. "But when we stood on the top of the podium, they had to look at us again."
